i got a chip waited a day to get it fixed and it became a crack the guys at the meet saw it, any way windshield repair i.e chips are covered under your insurance with you paying no diductable, and with no premium hike, as its not the same to replace a windshield whish costs 599 plus install, check with your insurance of apple auto glass should have all the nessary forms to do this

above freezing probably not, but once water gets in and freezes it'll probably expand that
