same thing happened to my friend. He had a BMW M3 tuned and freshly repainted. He took a routine turn at 40-50km/h, slided right into a rock. His car was totalled as the rock smashed the passenger side and a big part of the car's frame.

I can attest that our tires CANNOT handle snow at all!! I too was in a similar incident last week or so and ended up my rear right kissing the curb. Ended up replacing the control arm & shock absorbers (rim is gone)...back on road with Blizzak now. Today will be the first day to test out the blizzak's.
My Rear right camber is off a bit, but apparently the cambers are non-adjustable in the rears :S . And the RRM camber kit is for the front, dunno how to go about adjusting them
To the OP, Sorry to hear it and glad it wasn't severely damaged.

Thanks yeah, I've got my mechanic and personally checked out the rear , it lightly tapped the rear, but i see no damage or cracks either. Still waiting for the parts to arrive in tommorow hopefully and I got Blizzak winter tires also. LOL. Where'd you get your control arm and shock absorbers? From the dealership? How long did it take. Thanks man

I got my stuff ordered from Scarborough Mitsu...nice peeps there. Ordered it on Tuesday noon and it was ready for pickup by Thu (item arrived from NJ). Only the rotor hub was back ordered and still haven't arrived yet. I have no use for it now since my my car is functioning fine now. You can have it if needed since it will be "in-stock" as I canceled the order today.

Do you have any vibrations from the rear when driving around 75km/hr?

Not to be an *** here (because that's most definitely not my intention), but routine turns at 40-50km/h!? Routine? I'm not sure about the rest of the people here, but that seems a little fast to be making a turn.. especially if you know you're on performance summer tires in these conditions. I only bring this up because I had a similar situation with my previous car.. and in the end I had no one else to blame but myself. And again, no offense implied..

I totally empathize with you though, and it's good to know that you're okay. Hopefully your car is out of the shop soon enough (and with winter tires on!)
