yeah that's what i'm doing now....talked to one dealer and planning to talk to some more
but curious to see how much others have been able to negotiate off the MSPR price
i've also done a carcostcanada report....just trying to get some info from real life lancer owners =)

It's hard to bring down the price on a brand new vehicle. Used ones, for sure, but dealerships dont like to let the new ones go for too much off the retail price 
But you can most definitely try a bunch of different places and see what kind of deals you can get.
