All priced so closely together so they can say "if youre gonna get this, you might aswell pay a little more so you can get this and this... and since you have that, you can pay a lil more and get this!" etc etc.
Next thing you know you got a GTS

Last time I drove with my Dunlops there was MAYBE a cm of snow on the road, if that... I was doing like 20kph and couldn't keep her on the road. Almost went into the ditch quite a few times.

Not sure how much more careful you can get. I was driving HELLA slow.
My friend Ian Crerar (PROFESSIONAL RALLY DRIVER!!) drives a GTS and even he said it scared the sh*t out of him because the tires were so bad.
You'll find out the hard way I guess LOL.

yea i just picked up a black 2009 lancer gts....
the extras are the 18 inch rims and the dunlop sport all season tires, the sport bucket seats, auto climate, 2.4 litre engine(which is as good on gas as the 2.0L ), the upgraded suspention, struts, sports tuned and the engine stabalizer bar, bluetooth.. i think thats it... the brakes also have abs and ebd and are from the outlander and the engine is also from the outlander
and the gt im pretty sure DOES come with the sunroof and upgraded sound system..thats standard in it i think
with the interest your going to be paying about 29 500 total.... for an extra 2.5 grand you could have gotten the gts..tsk tsk... its funn!

1.8 financing about 800-900 in interest fees..
the GT comes with bluetooth enabled...
didn't want GTS..i heard the 18s suck in snow..lol that would mean more money for snow tires
aren't the 18 dunlops too loud in the summer too??
that's what i heard about the 2008 models

For the gts my total cost was $29 469(mine is auto with paddle shifters)...plus interest it turned out to be $32 300 i think.... $178 bi weekly for the longest financing period available at 2.8 percent interest and 0 dollars down at the start.(that was my deal)
break in period says not to tow with it, dont overload it, dont brake hard, dont drive ecessive speeds, dont rev the engine, but if you do, dont go past 4000 rpms, and also try not to drive it hard or accelarate hard..also dont rev it up in 1st gear. Follow these guildlines for the first 500 kms at least! but 1000kms is safer..
my first tank of gas told me to fill up at 370kms, when i went to fill up i had at least 9 litres left in the car, so at least 80 kms, so i would have gotten 450 kms on my first tank of gas....that was with wasting a bit of gas for the first 4 days of driving it.....im currently on my second tank of gas after 2 weeks and i should get 500 kms at least....
according to the fuel economy you should get 580 kms in the city and 820 kms in the highway...but then again its winter so the fuel economy wont be that high...
i drive 90 percent city at least, so on a full tank of gas if i drive it easy most of the time i should get 500- 550 kms and im happy...

what's funny is when i was talking to my sales person who sold me my lancer, he said he could put me in a GTS for the same price.
Although it seemed attractive, i preferred the added bonus of the sunroof and the stereo system.
the msrp of the GTS to the GT is only $1000 difference.
