My most sincere thanks to a Lancer driver :)
My most sincere thanks to a Lancer driver :)
I am not sure if the person I want to thank is on this forum, but figured I would have it a try, regardless.
As most of you probably know already, there was a huge snowstorm in the Toronto region today. I was on my way home in my 08 Civic (admittedly bought too long ago and hence still on stock tires), and every intersection I went through I got stuck. Made my way out of the first one at First Markham Place, and was caught up by snow again at Warden Ave (near T&T).
I was literally there for 30 minutes, shovelling the snow on the ground, driving forward/reversing, turning my steering wheels etc, and still wasn't able to get out of the snow.
Then I heard the closing of a door, and a voice came out and asked if I needed any help. In front of me was a very nice and young Chinese gentleman who volunteered to help me push my cars while I give it a few revs. In about 5 minutes, I was on my way back home.
The gentleman drives a red (or black) Lancer, and I would love to extend my sincere thanks to him for his kindness and his care.
I yelled "thank you" to him, but I think he might not have heard.
If you are on the forum, please let me know - I would like to thank you in person.

i, on the other hand, got my lancer stuck in the snow for about 20 minutes (go figure, at the top of my street after an hour and a half drive home....)
i got some help and got out, and am very grateful, so i know how you feel.
