I was just reminiscing about all the fun I had in the summer with my car and I wanted to share it with you all and I hope you'll all share some of your memories with me. Anyways here's my favourite moment this past summer:

Mid-August in Oakville I'm on my way to my girlfriends-friends-boyfriends house so we could all meet for coffee at Timothy's.

So I turn off south service road and onto a residential street, stop at the stop sign and make a right onto his street. I shift to second and I'm going about 50 when I see about 3 Hondas all parked parallel to each other in front of a house.

I slow down, shift to first gear and drive past at 4500rpms and my GReddy Exhaust sets off all three of their car alarms.

I didn't stick around to see their owners reaction, but I'm sure the moment was priceless "Omg bruh someone is stealing mah CRX" "Mine too bruh" "OMG I hope he ain't ****in with mah imitation TE-37 Eagle Rims".

My favorite moment without a doubt was when I jokingly asked an m3 driver if he wanted to race me...and he declined saying with all seriousness "are you kidding? I'd get my *** handed to me on a silver platter!" to which I just laughed hysterically and walked away.

I wish people had more fun times with their cars......I guess it's because there isn't much performance in them.

It'd be so f-ing cool if we had "getaway in stockholm" style videos. Of course an RRM turbo wouldn't cut it, neither would a Mivec Engine.....you'd probably need an Evo, WRX, STI or another car with alot of high-end power to even consider out running the cops.

yeah man, it would be so much fun to have an "autobahn" near us to drive on. i wish. but instead we have highways filled with retarded people that don't know how to drive

driving up to toronto with my evo and see ppl with their mouths open as wide as possible. Drive up to 140mph on the QEW and 407. Beat many cars easily.

Best times to go out and do top speed runs is between 3-5am on the hwy. I find the 407 seems to great at that time and certain sports of the 401 just outside Sauga (Oakville) are also top notch.

I'm pretty sure the top speed of a Evo is 157 mph (well at least thats what GT3 shows)

I wonder what the top speed of a Mivec is? higher rpms and different gearing! Perhaps closer to 150 or 160? Maybe the same as an Evo...I dunno does displacement and cylinders affect top speed?

no it doesn't affect it at all. but it will get you to that top speed faster! the only thing that affects top speed is rpm, gearing and tire size (relatively). if you keep the same tranny but can now rev to 8000 instead of the 6200 factory then you will increase your top speed. this is all based on the idea that you remove your limiter first, which you will since you are getting that haltech computer. if you've noticed, even on our lancers we can hit the top speed of 210kmh and still be well under the redline of 6200 rom since the limiter takes over and halts any further proceeding. even if we kept everything the same in our cars and removed the limiter, then our (achievable) top speed would increase.
