GTA Mitsu dealer reviews?
a few dealers in terms of club co-op will be or have been black listed. since they either are unwilling or unable to work with our alliance. Either that or they have screwed around with customers one too many times.
Dixie Mitsubishi is by far the worst Mitsubishi dealership and most than likely the worst dealership of all companies in the GTA.
If you want headaches and problems then Dixie Mitsubishi is the place to buy your car...most of the managers in that place are useless and I would never send my worst enemy to deal with that service manager, if that's what he thinks he is, called Chris Cooke. I've never met somebody so unprofessional in my life and that lies to peoples faces...it's just mind boggling how somebody like him could get a job dealing with customers when he is a complete jackass and obviously has no skills and knowledge when dealing with customers.
I started having problem right from the get go with that dealership from the paper work for the purchase of that car till now, right to the point where Chris Cooke threaten to call the cops on me because he didn't wanna deal with me or the problems I was having with my car. So If you care to read a story about them just feel free to ask and I'll post just a fraction of the problems I had with them.

I actually had a fairly good experience with markham mitsu. sales staff were pretty professional and the service manager has been helpful. so far so good. would be interested to hear other experiences at markham, since i plan to service my evo there......
I've visited the Newmarket, Scarb, Markham, one on Yonge St north of Steeles, and they're all tiny dealers. Scarb being the largest and Newmarket the tiniest (looks more like a portable).
On the surface they (sales staff) all look pretty scruffy looking, and the dealers lack the professional "look" that i've noticed at Honda, Acura, Mazda, Toyota, Lexus, Audi dealers that I've been to. Not that it means anything, just the first impression thing
I'm more worried about how the service dept is...are they willing and competent enough to handle complaints, or will they give you the run around in dealing with issues.
Thxs to those who've added their $0.02

It's the same impression I got when I started to look for a Lancer and I should of taken the hint back then. Tiny showrooms and service department, not very customer friendly interms of waiting areas, shuttle services, rentals, also not to mention any type of service seems to be so slow (ex. oil change). When the 2008 lancers first came out and got alot of attention, most of the employees and managers at these dealerships seem to be high on this car and very cocky. They came into the conversation with the potential buyer with a "I can sell that car as soon as you walk out that door" attitude. Something that shouldn't be happening coming from a company that has struggled to sell their products. Anytime I've called head office to voice my concerns over the car and complain about problems with my dealership, they've been pretty useless. If anybody has called them, its seems that they've got only two people working the customer service lines because the times I've called I've always got the same two people. Also when calling head office you don't have many options to choice from and if somebody is busy on the line it gives you a messenge as that head office is closed and to call back...something very small but not at all professional when you compare them to other head office services like Honda, Toyota, etc.
So far the biggest Mitsubishi dealership I've been to is Auto Park Mitsubishi in Burlington, but the rest of the dealerships seem to be run down older dealerships from others that have moved on to bigger and better things.
As for the service department, from the few that I have been to over problems with my lancer they've been pretty much the same. Seems to me they don't work towards helping the customers with issues but instead helping out the pockets of head office. These alignment and paint issues that the lancers have been known for should of been address by now, more importantly the alignment issue. They've given customers the run around on this problem and have pointed fingers at every possible thing except themselves. This seems to be a common trend when you read from people that have bought a Mitsubishi product, customer service doesn't tend to the needs of customers and always seems to try and get themselves out of warranty work. I still find it funny how Mitsubishi can use the line "Best backed cars in the World" in their ads.
