Hey guys been talking to a few of the guys about the idea of doing a charity event to raise cash for any good cause (popular vote wins) Typical ideas have been floated like babes and car washes but I am hoping we can do better? and no Sumo wrestler car wash aint gonna do it either. One thing that I was thinking was getting involved in Meals on wheels in some way?

feel free to float your ideas. time line on this is March 30th to finish planning the event and executing it by Mid May 2009.

You could see if you can set up a track day and have multiple clubs join in and if you can set it up with the track owner, the proceeds go to a foundation like Sick Kids.

Or even a BBQ event.

 

bbq event PLUS babes with car washes = done

 

Not everyone wants to see babes y'know

But ya... car wash, yard sale? haha, silent auction, 50/50 Draw.... umm... I dunno it's too early in the mornin to think !

i like the trak idea,kinda similar to the year end cruise,all the money went to madd,and its the type of thing that sparks everyones interest

the way they spend their money has been in question for a few years now...im against drunk drivers and know they've made some great steps since Candice Lightner founded them. I wish I could help out every charity out there but when you have big executives pulling in big $$$ I just can't give to them, infact I would refuse to.

Im up for anything maby something about street racing since it's going to be spring soon and dry pavement useally = races. Theirs also sick kids and other thing. Hey soul wheel on meals with a cruise that be fun.

 

yup,not my choice in charity,id rather donate to sick kids or somethin worth while,and would rather do it at a track that wasnt that one,oval track is no fun,need some good straights and twisties
