Hey guys I'm gonna get tint done soon enough. I've heard to go to either auto fx
or audio heaven. I think there was one more as well.

I wanted to see if any of you guys could post pics of your % that you have to help me decide. From what I have read, legally you can have up to 20% on the front and 5% on the back.

Anyone who can confirm this, that would be great.

The other thing I read was problems with scratching. Was there ever a fix for this? I read that even with the felt strips or whatever they are called there is still scratching.

I've got 5% on the back. Nothing on front cause in BC they are hardcore for no tint on front except for if it comes like that from the factory. I think 5% rear and 20% front would be a good contrast. Mine hasn't scratched cause I never open the rear windows, but I hear the felt strips work good.

 

ya I like the 5 in the back just wanna see how it looks with 20 on the front. If I don't like the look I'll probably just do 20 all around

 

I went to tint king and the guy said that its legal to have 30 in the front and the back can be anything you'd like

i opted for 30s all around and 5 in the rear window

this is my 35% all around...depends how you view it with the sun, it looks darker sometimes...
but 'im happy with the tint

 

in toronto, back is 5 and front is 35 i believe.
i have 5 in the back and 15 in front... i'll post a pic soon. i wouldnt go to autofx anymore, went downhill since last summer or something, audio heaven is good. and cheap.

 

i had 20% all around. got pulled over during sunset around 7pm cuz of failed to display front license plate. police gave a good look at my car (and tinted windows) and gave me a nice compliment + warning then left me alone.

MAYBE i'm just lucky?

btw i recommend fx auto cuz they truely take care of their customers

then i changed the sides to 35% and left the rear window 20%...love it like this!

that was in old montreal; nice streets dont exist in toronto

kidding; go to main street unionville or yorkville you'll find something similar
