Dealer Review - Markham Mitsubishi Service
as for my story, my alignment was free from scarborough mitsubishi.
the impression they gave me is they will try their best of their abilities yet they are powerless with mitsu canada. maybe they r just blaming someone else? either way, i'm going to local garage from now on.

every time i meet people.. They compliment on my car and the price i got it for...
But i feel crappy inside.. Knowing that i spent so much money fixing problems that i should not see until next year.
The markham staff are always having a smoke and i always have to wait for them to finish before they talk to me.. Then they shake my hand and my hand smells like smoke. Urgh.
Mind you, i used to smoke.. And i would always use my left hand so that my right is clean when i do business. I think thats basic business protocal and respect.
About the alignment. I had to pay for it. They said that its not under warranty.. I paid freaking 100 bucks... I tell everyone i know to never buy a mitsu... I love my lancer.. But honestly.. There has to be a threshold for bad service and bad products... If i get started on the paint issue.. Ill have a stroke... So ill leave that alone
in business they say: If you treat a customer good... He will tell 1 person.
If you treat that customer bad... He will tell 10 people about the experience...but for me.... If you treat me good, ill tell 10 people... If you treat me bad, ill tell the world....until i get compensation..
Compensation in mitsu's case=free alignment next year or refund for what i paid... Fix the damn paint (btw my car came with a scratch.. A huge one on the passenger door and they didn't car cuz i just paid before tey showed me my car)...and a huge appology from all the staff that lied to me..
Thank god rrm is there...i like their service

^ why did you take the car if there was a huge scratch on your door? i would've asked them to give me a huge discount for that gash or fix it.
my car didn't come with the satellite radio and i asked where it was before i drove off the lot and they said my car wasnt activated so they gave me 500 back and activated it.
i got my alignment done for free by them. then i brought it back and i said that it still pulls to the left and they did an alignment on the steering wheel and now it drives relatively straight lol

Instead the Redline/Amsoil pricings are about the same, I would rather pay $12.99 for Redline each bottle or $10 for Amsoil at Cantire..
I stopped going to Markham Mitsu for about a year. I have taken my business to Scarborough Mitsu although Markham Mitsu is like 15 mins away from me. I have developed good relations with the mechanic and the service guy @Scarboro-Mitsu and they thrive to do better...If you are good with the mechanic, they even allow you in the bay area and watch them do the work..thats what I like.
Markham Mitsu Sales sux big time and I pity the peeps who buy from them. Their service department used to be good before but after i found them rude & tried to cheat me couple of times I stopped going there.

Went to Scarb Mitsu for my hood release cable warranty work and oil change yesterday. Everything seem to have gone alright, I haven't
had a chance to crawl under my car to inspect their work, to make sure all the plastic shrouding was put back correctly and that there wasn't any leaks. Will
do that this weekend. Guys there seem courteous enough. When I inquired if there was any other TSB for my RA the service manager actually asked if I wanted to
have a look at their computer report for my VIN. No other TSB.
All in all it took them an hour to change my oil and cable. I guess it was cause it was Monday afternoon and the place was pretty dead.
Cost was $30 after taxes cause I supplied the Mobil1 synthetic oil. Did this first oil change a bit early (at 3000km) cause I was in their for the cable issue plus it couldn't hurt.
Shall see how they are when dealing with any issues later on.

I'm taking mine for an oil change today at Markham. I'm bringing in Royal Purple. This will be the real tester to see if they are any good. Also any info on the TSBs?
Has anyone hit 24,000 kms on their Mitsu yet? Any idea if its worth paying for the Type C service or should I just get an Oil Change? I think the price varies for the Type C service by dealership, but its around $200.....
its puzzling why they would flag it in that way
