Best Dealer: AB & BC

If you have favorable comments to post about purchase and/or service
experiences with a Mitsubishi dealer, I'd appreciate reading these.

I'm mainly looking at outlets within Alberta, but positive remarks for dealers
in both BC and Sask are welcome.

I got my car at Valley in Kelowna, BC and I probably won't be back there to buy a car again. They were so helpful and treated me like gold until I signed the papers but now they got no time for me. The day my car arrived, sat in showroom for 3 hrs waiting for them to hand over the keys and they all ignored me cause I already signed the papers. They never return my calls when I got a question, 2.5 hrs for my 1st oil change(now I do my own) and almost 6 hrs to put my winter tires on my steels.

Sorry to hear about your experience at Valley in Kelowna. They were on the
list of BC dealers I put together to consider. From the looks of your post, the
issues have been on-going, not just a delivery problem upon purchase - signs
of systemic problems rather than an anomaly.

Are western Canadian owners under-represented here?

Frankly, I'm gobsmacked that not one single favorable remark about western
dealers has been posted. Is this to say the salemen, the service-writers, the
shop techs and the parts people are all found wanting?

I believe your provincial gov't would collect upon local registration.

Now, if you could find a way to maintain an AB address (thereby finessing
local registration) you might be onto something. For a while, anyway.

no i have talked to a few local clubs as well as a business interest who may organize a west side lancer/ evo club.
Next month I am flying out to the west coast as well as to LA to speak to a few car clubs and vendors
As for a club I would say sit tight I amsure they will get organized soon.

In terms of evolutionm.net its unknown it depends on how much traffic and volume goes thru evolutionm for expansion

Good to know.

But what I am wondering is whether the absence of remarks is due to not
many western Canadian owners participating here?

Or is the lack of favourable comments simply because western folks have
nothing complimentary to post about their dealer experiences?

I think that it is due to the low # of members from western canada. I've only seen about 10 at the most from out west on here. My buddy bought his 08 GTS in Red Deer and he said he had a great experience there.

Thanks.

Does your friend participate here on EvoM? How long has he had his GT and
has he been back to RDM for service or parts since he purchased the car?
