Most tinting places have life time warranty on tint bubbling. I have 20% rear and 30% front. nice blend so it doesn't clash.

legal tint rates are different depending on area. the legal rate in ontario is actually 25%, not 20% on the front 2 and 0% is legal for the rear 3. a friend of mine does tinting and that's what he said at least. also other people have said the same. i did mine to 20% though and i have a lifetime warranty as well. don't like the looks of 2 different shades

same here.. a friend of mine did his dark blue Jetta with light in the front and dark in the back. It doesn't look good anymore. I'm gonna go 20% all around. Keep it nice.

This place I worked at called "Avenue Motorworks" a few years back had these owners who lived in Florida part of the year and flew back and forth....anyways on there Cadillac STS the tinting was sick....you couldn't even see into the car from the outside in broad daylight. I wonder have dark that tint was 50%?

I have 20% all around on mine, with a life time warrenty against bubbleing cracking and fading. And as a not I have been pulled over several times with the tint and have never been hasseled about it. They just wanted to stop be for running that stop sign.

Hmmm I dunno, it's just not my thing.....However I think a tint would be handy if I was getting laid or doing something illegal inside my car.......last thursday night at Centenial Park in Etobicoke I was with some friends and they needed a light and so I walked up to a car parked with it's lights off. I got up to the window and they're were two teens getting it on in there....so anyways we decided to go to a petrol station and get a lighter. When we came back they were gone (in what was obviously daddy's car....Mercedes E Class).

The funny part is all the jokes we made about the guy afterwards, we were gone not even 5 minutes and they had already stripped down, done it and gotten dressed and left. Talk about a one minute man.......we found no condoms around but did find some odd shaped kleenex nearby, which leads me to believe he got finished off with some two-ply LMAO

Anyways that's where tint would come in handy, because I am forever scarred at the sight of his naked ***.

HAHA, LMFAO!!

like i said, mine is 20%, so you can see it at the next meet in a couple days cih.

Spool, the number represents transmissable light, so the lower the number, the less light is allowed through. the tint that was in that caddi you saw was probs 5%, that's usually called "limo" tint

not yellow, but I love my tints... I believe their the legal limit in the front, 20% in the back...

During the day there's plenty of visibility but noone can see in the back unless they really look, at night noone can see in the car period.

I never have problems with visibility and it's all legal. Pictures are on a really sunny day so you might see in a bit more than normal.

there is a set limit, but no matter what it is always officer discretion. your tints can be totally legal as far as the law is concerned, but if the officer thinks they are too dark then he can write you a ticket anyway. no matter what there is still a limit though. if there wasn't you could just paint your windows black and not see out of them.

tint

Tinting laws differ depending on what province you live in. In Ontario the darkest legal tint is 22%, anything less (or darker) can run you a fine.
I know in other provinces it all depends since you aren't even allowed to tint certain windows, etc.
If you want to save yourself the hassle, call the police and speak to the traffic section.
