Where to buy an Evo X in vancouver?

Hi All

Was looking to get opinions on where to go for an Evo X GSR in the Vancouver area. Opinions/experiences with dealers? (Service experience as well if you've got it)

Looking to buy fairly soon. If anyone works for or knows anyone at a mitsu dealer, I really have no preference where I go.

Thanks

Do not go to Vancouver Mitsubishi. Member on 9Glancers took his car there for oil change and they forgot to put oil in the car and took the 3+ weeks to replace the engine. Another guy I know went there when he got a flat in Van and they forgot to tighten his lugs when they replaced the tire. Luckily he checked before he left. Don't know about the other dealers around the lower mainland.

I bought 06' Lancer Ralliart from Vancouver Mitsubishi. Although I don't have any bad experience with them between 06'-08', there's nothing particular make me happy either.

As I want a Evo X so badly, I traded my old car with NewType Mitsubishi in Richmond this time. Overall I'm very happy dealing with them! So far I notice their service dept. is always so busy which make it difficult to make a service appointment.

I'll say try visit few stores and see who can give you better offer and which one you'll be more comfortable with.

Good luck with your purchase!

i got mine at new type in richmond.. they treated me nice until i signed the papers..getting my first oil change took like 2 hours after they said 45 mins.

I went to the mitsu in langley - wolfe ? its on the auto strip and they seemed nice even though i just went to get a paint pen..

My CEL light turned on @ 1012kms and I brought it into Vancouver Mitsubishi. They reprogrammed the ECU and even washed it for me in an hour and a half. Great service and good speed. I was scared to go to the burnaby one as well since they've only been open for 2 weeks @ the time.

I purchased my evo from Northshore, they had excellent staff and service. Just a little far for me in the long run.

No mods, they told me that it was a factory recall and had something to do with the ignition timing readings. I can look up the error code on my invoice later if you like!

Thanks for all the feedback

I went to all the mentioned dealers, and I will say I got treated better at north shore. However I think I'm going to wait for the 2010 models. Specifically I want to wait and see an RS.
