N/A Tune

Is anyone interested in getting an ecu tune for their car? A few of us are going to be getting dyno tuned during the early winter months, and the more people that do it the cheaper it becomes. Tuning will be done at Magnus through ONIJDM, and iv'e seen a few of their cars already (everyone has seen Mitch's Evo X) and trust me they're serious about making reliable power. Don't say your interested if it's just a fantasy of yours, only post if your serious about getting more HP out of your car through a tune.

Just post if your interested, and the cost will be worked out shortly. Like I said the higher the #'s the cheaper the cost, and nothing is set in stone so you could consider this an interest thread for now. Once I get a general idea of the #'s, he'll give me a quote.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that Mitsubishi maybe looking into their warranty agreements for north america (for the better) referring specifically to powertrain. That said. modifying your ECU with a tune is one of those things that you do at your own peril. But... I dont want to run into conflicts with the dealerships that we are starting to interact with.
So if you do this please be mindful of your warranty agreement.

Tuning by a shop that knows what its doing is fine. Magnus and ONIJDM have made a good name for themselves. But just be mindful of Mitsubishi's position, and rights under the warranty agreement.

Believe me, no one is more upset with the Canadian ECU then I am sigh...

if they do a full reflash, then its likely to be based on a USA spec... so your ECU will adapt normally

Let's put it this way. Instead of getting a flash set for Cali weather, your car will be tuned for our weather our elevation and with whatever mods you have at the time. And last but not least, you get to watch them do it and drive home right after with dyno sheet in hand!
