Newbie here... was trying to seek for info but forum is too large and not sure if US spec. is somewhat different from Can.

Anyway, been looking for a 08 MR and seemed like premium package was an option for 2008 model.

Question:
- how much was the difference?
- what's extra in premium package?

The premium package was only available in 2008. 2009 only regular GSR, RS and MRs were available. In 2010 the MRs all came with it (but they took away the high spoiler). The package was $5k and included a sunroof, navi and Bluetooth, Rockford fosgate sound system, and sound insulation. It was what the 2010 MR touring would become since in Canada we had heated side mirrors and heated seats in all the 08 MRs as well. After tax and fees, it was 55-65k out the door depending on how late u waited to buy. I bought the last 08 wicked white premium in Canada last May for $60k.

Yah, if you buy it from a Vancouver dealer, get ready to pay the price for a new one! The GSR you're planning to buy will run you 50k after everything w/o HIDS! if you want the performance pack, it will run you mid 50's!

I agree! Unfortunately, its not a simple that's the price of a GTR or M3 so get that instead! A friend's friend paid $110 cash deal out the door for a new GTR, M3's are listed at $73k and brand new s2k's start at $50k!

I actually do all my clothing shopping in the states. It was probably out of convenience that I bought mine here, but I really wanted manual with HIDs. I don't know why I was stupid enough to not import one from the states! I highly advise anyone interested in getting an Evo in Canada to stop and look south!

Yes, they were available only in 2009... but would you actually buy it? The whole reason why I bought a new car was because my old car didn't have all the daily comfort options!
