Centric premium versus Centric standard rotors

Hi, I'm just wondering what the difference is between the Centric standard rotors and the centric premium rotors is? Any info would be great. Thanks.

One in the same from what I've been told. Their newest Premium rotors feature an Electrocoating (E-coating) finish that provides long lasting corrosion protection which I believe the older "standard" rotors did not have.

I have centric 121's that I got from rotorpros. I track and autox the car with them and they've been fine. The standard doesn't have the painted hub, so it may rust, that's the only difference I know of. That being said, I'll order the prem's next time.

So the only difference is the anti corrosion coating? So if we are in an area that doesn't receive any snow, then this would not make much of a difference right?

Yeah I think it's just the painted hub, which is worth it where I live.

That is incorrect the diffence is an economy version and a premium. There's a bunch of threads on it which include the part numbers and all.

well i had both, the economy version warped very easily, they were drilled and slotted(could have caused the warping), im on the premium ones now, but they are glazed over from the satisfied gs5 pads.

i wouldnt go as far as that. you dont need snow and salt for these things to start corroding and sticking shut.
