Has there been any progress made in the past few days with the club or at least website ? I would love to see this site get launched soon, so we can start spreading the word around.

Hey, sorry for the lack of updates. The site is going under way, forums are setup now just tweaking them, soon gonna wrap up the CMS, and merge the membership system with the forum membership system.

Then its all goode. The site will 4 sure be done before spring, I will get back to work on it after final exams.

why dilute lancer stuff to more sites, i'd just use this one, it works ok except for the usual shiv and al disputes! =)

 

all car clubs have their own site, it's a place where the actual people in the car club can moderate their site and make club announcements. not to mention that advertising is better this way and putting the evom website on CLC merchandise is opening a whole can of worms along with the people who would come to this site only to find droves of US lancers and evos. plus, OUR site is a way to express OUR club the way we want to!

a couple pages back there is a link to a form that you can fill out...don't remember exactly what page it is, but it's there...once you fill that out then you are considered for the club once we get it off the ground and running fully...thanks for the interest!

Where reaching the time where the site is just about done, and we have a good starting base of 21 members, though now we need to focus on advertisement and growth.

Come spring time I think it would be best for the club to be known round the Mitsu/Lancer Community, what you guys think?

What do you think is the best advertising method for the site? Like flyers, web ads, etc?

I couldnt really help you out on the advertising ideas...my best idea is everyone print out advertising sheets...and put them all on the windsheilds of lancers in your area...word of mouth is the best advertising....how i found this site..is i just searched on the web about lancers and pages from evolution was popping up as results....anyways cant wait!

 

Flyers might work but, personally i don't think flyers are a very good idea, mostly because when ppl put stuff like that i my windsheild i just throw it way without looking at it. A good idea, would be to have some of the more modified cars make an appearance as a club at a car show like darknights, or whatever other car shows are around.
