Just noticed the Canadian forum

Hey everyone ! after being on the site about 6 months or so i just noticed the canadian forum..

just a little intro

From Calgary Alberta

i have a 2011 WW mr with some cobb goodies and winters on some rfp-1's Kumho KW22's with studds.. these evo's are solid as far as i can tell.. my summers are done.. 4 road course events @ stratotech and 8 auto x events with RDSCC westerner park and penhold.

ive not been back to the dealer since i bought the car.. they seem to over charge for what they offer and not even open on the weekends. Ive been doing oil changes and tire rotations my self. and for everything else so far ive been taking my evo to Vex performance.. their hourly rate is cheaper and they seem care about their customers.

i'm at 10k already from all the road trips and the car still feels great. ive driven on everything from road courses, 1/4mile, back country roads to back country logging roads. i'm completly amazed by the suspention to handle such a variation of surfaces. over all i'm most impressed with the mr on gravel especialy with the kumho kw22's. dampning rates of the suspention + gravel mode O.O ... it was born to drive on gravel!
If your in the east kootneys here's a trip for you

here's a link that takes you to a natural hot springs via maintained logging road. this road is amazing. every couple hundred meters there are changes in direction + undulations etc etc

Have fun out there! i hope to meet some local people

Welcome fellow Calgarian! Seems like WW is a color of choice for most Evo/RA owners! There are at least 6 members here from Calgary who own a white EVO/RA.

there's a bunch of evo 9's that attend the auto x events with rdscc. this was my first full season my times were junk but it's a crap load of fun learning the car.

RDSCC *How Big's your grin?* Come on out next year!

Roof rack?
Is it the one that just hooks to a roof between the door and and a side of the roof?
As far as I know there are no OEM ones for RA/EVO

this rack i blieve is ment for the plain lancer.. but fits the evo just fine. i'll digg out my recipt and post the part number.. i got the feet from racks unlimited the bars and faring are swapped from my past cars.. ive had a rack on my 323 GT my Elantra GT my Volvo V70r and now this one.. so it's kinda the older skool thule "square bars" but they still look decent from years of use
