don't know what time i'm going yet, but 11-1 sounds good...i'll know after i talk to a couple of my friends that are coming too...we might be catchin the GO as well, not sure yet

IT IS OFFICIAL......today in the toronto sun the featured a yellow EVO VIII with a small spolier which will be at the auto show.

 

DAaammn, did they say if it was available for the public to sit inside, or at least stand beside it for photo shoots?

bah. without turning it on, the interior's just like sitting in a lancer anyway. except for the recaro's, maybe. :P

 

So, has anybody been to the show yet and checked with when the Evo is supposed to be coming to Canada?

It's gotta be sometime soon, as they keep floating this thing around in the press and at shows, even if it is not the definitive Canadian version: prepare for ugly Lancer bumpers.

how about this: when i go in less than 12 hours i will find out what the "scoop" is from mitsu on the Evo, but the deal is that everyone has to stop asking the same questions and likes the answer i give them. how's that for an option? as for sitting in it, big deal, i sat in one at the burlington mitsu dealer and it is exactly the same as our car other than the REALLY nice recaro's and the addition of a foglamp switch and intercooler sprayer switch. oh, and the tach and speedo are reversed in the evo. that's it.

saw it, was very impressed. didn't get to sit in it. and release is still sketchy i was told 2005.

 

 

the ppl there were morons and barely even knew what the evo was yet were standing beside one. the mitsu display was very disheartening and they didn't even have the new eclipse there (me=upset). basically the best info i have gathered is that the evo will become available in Canada on the next generation of evo, the evo IX slated for possibly 2006
