Is This A Trick?

On the Canadian Mitsubishi website, they list on the Lancers for standard features "tinted glass" and remote release for the trunk and the hood. So...does their definition of tinted glass mean the windows? Or is there some other glass that I don't know about? And for remote hood/trunk release, does that mean keyless opening? Anyone want to educate me on this?

The glass on lancers isn't really a tint.... its like a little green hue in the glass.
and yes there are handles in the car to release the trunk/hood

Its a very light smoke on the glass. Not the same as limo or anything, that's for sure.
Remote trunk refers to the cable actuated hatch release, right next to the cable-actuated fuel filler door. As for remote hood? Well, every car since about 1960 has that one, I'd say!

The tinting on the glass is to prevent UV Rays from coming in. More like a coating, not a tinting.

The remote release is the lever by the driver's seat. It's not a button on the keyless entry to open the trunk automatically. You can get that installed, but usually for aftermarket alarm systems.

You can get it done at the dealership if u want... I got mine done at a car shop, costed me $200 bucks for a 20% all around. That's with a lifetime warranty aswell.

Buying the car new you should be able to swing free tint I had no problems at all. Good quality tint from a local shop with lifetime warranty. They will do most anything to sell you that car. Maybe mention test driving a Honda see how much easier it is to haggle.
