a custom turbo would be cheaper if you get the parts yourself and do the work yourself....i was looking at doing that and figured about $1000 could get me running a nice t28 intercooled

Kinetic says they could do a turbo for $9k, maybe less. RRM's is 4k US+labour, it all works out. And when I told you there wasn't a kit, Kobe, it was before I heard about the RRM one =p

well there you go before you start blabbing how there are turbo kits make sure what you remember what you have told people before you start acting like this and that

Maybe this was not the intention of the original post, but I could totally see why someone would want to get an automatic Lancer and convert to manual: the stationwagon (or Sportback).
I'd love to get one, but there is no manual option.
