under cover cop cars
yesturday on my way to mississauga i saw the most f*$ked up thing on the road, i saw a caravan on the side of the road. in front of it was a done up honda. (of course LOL) the van pulled it over. it had the red lights flashing and dark tinted wndows.
what the F*&K. but anyway list all the under cover cop cars you've seen on the road so we know what to watch out for in the gta and surrounding areas
these are the one in brampton:
2003 beige caravan
2003 black honda accord
2002 volvo white
2003 silver honda sir

did they have any of the "phantom" decals on the side when you drive up next to 'em? ..that's messed up now that there's a minivan doing radar! ...i'm not sure if it was this board or not but someone mentioned somewhere that there's a metalic blue eclipse undercover car out there too

Back years ago when I worked for Metro Police at the time (now Toronto Police).... they had basicly Chrysler undercovers......... Now a days.......expect anything. I'll see if I can get you guys the whole scoop from Toronto, Peel and OPP.
the OPP have around 7 chevy camaro Z28s near Metro Toronto for high speed chases on 401, Gardener, and DVP, there are also apparantly some Volvo s70 T5s... apparantly there's some unmarked Caravan in Oakville...
(from FYST.com)possible "features" that an unmarked cop car is likely to have:
-flashing lights on the front grille or dash;
-suspicious lights on the back window;
-extra antennas (for their radio);
-big fat tires;
-anti-roll bars if viewed from the rear;
-alloy wheels, or missing hub caps (to avoid third-party damage in case they fly off during a high-speed chase);
-the front and rear seats seem to be separated by glass windows;
-suspiciously clean in the winter.
personally, after seeing (marked) cop beetles, and PT cruisers, who knows what the **** they're gonna use for unmarked cars, I'm investing in a good radar detector! www.escortradar.com/x50.htm This is also cuz of my recent ticket at a 401 speed trap for 45km over!(and all the previous tickets)

Fine for using a Radar Detector $245 + Confiscation.
BTW. Most speed detection on highways is done through lasers now, not radar. They're more accurate when it comes to pinpoint cars. A radar detector would be useless on a highway.
Why don't you just drive responsibly.

you do realise there is loop holes in the system that will allow you to get away with a fuz buster. also there are dectectors on the market that will do either radar or laser detection or both.
