Because I try to gas up whenever the prices are low, I seldom am empty but I've done 478 and 482 km on a tankful.
well first of all, why the hell are you guys putting in premium?? this is an "econo-box" and it even says on the gas flap that you can put 81 octane in it. you aren't really gaining anything by putting stupidly expensive gas in your car.
second thing, i easily get over 500km to a tank of gas and it's not like i *****-foot it either. in fact, one time i got over 600km when i went down to ellicotteville, NY skiing and that was with my buddy and all our ski gear in the car. the only time i was getting 400km to a tank was when i first got my intake and i was flooring it everywhere cuz i loved the sound!

seriously? I dont' get any where close to 400... 380 and then it lights up...

and the guy who mentioned he gets more clicks with his z24... doesn't that car have a bigger tank?

It's just over $2 in the midwest if you guys care. THat's like 59/litre I think (3.7 litres to the gallon right?).
It's always historically the highest right at Memorial day, so it'll keep rising for a few more weeks at least.
I'll be taking a trip to Ontario this summer. Anyone live close to Ignace - maybe Dryden/Kenora/Thunder Bay that can give me a gas price??

Just wait for the May 24 long weekend, the gas is going to go through the roof. I bet you it will hit 94,5 for that weekend. Today the gas around my place is 83.5.
ONLY BY GAS FROM THE STATIONS, NOTHING ELSE. EVERY LITTLE THING WE BUY FROM THEM IS MORE MONEY IN THERE POCKETS. NO MORE CHOCOLATE BARS, NEWSPAPERS, COFFEE, OR CAR MAGAZINES.
BOYCOT SHELL GAS STATIONS AS WELL AS PETRO CANADA, THEY ARE RUNNING THE PRICE OF GAS UP ALL THE TIME.

Who is he to ask why we're putting good gas in our cars?? Does he not know that even though they can take low grade they perform (and LAST) much better (longer) with premium gas!!!
Also, he's clearly bull****ting here... if you compare his milage to anyone else's who has posted here he has at least 100km per tank on anyone esle... right...
And even in the post-***** post i noticed this guy's always gotta be the center of attention, try to steal the show... he doesn't deserve to be called a post *****... maybe just the ***** part
