So here is the question that need to be answered
Do Montrealers meet with people from Ottawa or not. If we meet it can't be on the 401 cause we're gonna miss each other anyway. Meeting somewhere we never went without knowing how much time it will take to get there would be the biggest mistake.

We either meet in Ottawa or we'll see each other in Toronto.

What do we do?

 

I voted meet in Ottawa cause that way we can all roll into TO together :P

 

Why not give each other Cell phone numbers and contact each other on the way that way one group could wait 10-20 min in one area. Just a suggestion.

 

If there is a moderator that feels like adding that option to the poll, it would be appreciated

I voted "see each other in TO" because there will be multiple cars from both cities.. I think we'll have more fun at the meet than during the drive _to_ the meet. And we can even stay for a part of the evening drive with the other people from the meet.. That should be even better

i think that you guys should meet somewhere on the 401. this way poeple will see all the mutsu driving on the 401. it will turn heads. and plus maybe other mutsu's will fallow you guys

Actually we'll take Danno's proposition. We leave as 2 seperate groups. 1 from Ottawa, 1 from Montreal. Once we are on the 401 at some point 1 group will call the other and compare where everybody is at. If we're only like 2 or 3 exit appart, we might as well wait for each other. If not, then we roll till Toronto.

Dicision is taken. I've been thinking about this for the past 2 days, and Danno's idea is the best option. As said in my previous post, we won't meet each other unless we're a few Exit appart once we're on the 401. I'll need someone from Montreal to volunteer to PM me his cell phone number so we can contact each other while on the 401. I'll reply to that PM with my own Cell number.

Now people from Montreal can organize their departure time according to their need, and Ottawa will do the same.

Mitsubishi03... As stated in another thread, we need to take the 416. Easiest way I know to reach it is through Nepean. Meet me either in the OC Transpo parking lot in front of Algonquin College or in the front parking of the Sportsplex. Both locations are on Woodroff. If possible, let me know by tonight wich location you prefer. You'll need to be there at 7am. I'll be leaving the choosen parking lot at 7:15 sharp. If you need directions let me know.

 

ok ill meet u at the OC transpo parking lot thats right across from Algonquin. Ill prob leave around 6:30am since im leaving from Orleans, so that should give me enough time to get there.
you dont plan on driving the speed limit the whole way do you??!! hehe

 

I heard that there is lots of cops on the 401, so we'll have to be very careful. I do have a radar detector, but when you reach a certain speed, that kind of device is useless. Plus my radar detector ain't the best out there, so yeah... we will go a little over, but keep in mind: The faster you go, the sooner you have to fillup your tank.

I'm a smoker and I don't smoke in my car. So we'll have to make probably 2 pitt stops. The stops will allow us to take a "breather" and to cool down our rubbers.

 

I'm hoping to run into you guys on the 401 at some point.

I'm leaving Peterborough at around 9:30 so hopefully I'll see you.....if not I'll see you at the meet.
