yup.. it's a piece of cake... my buddie did his own on his civic... now he blacks out headlights for everybody and their dog... he uses the oven method.. the heat gun doesn't work as well... and I think the most important part is patience.

what about the corner light?? does it still show when balacked out cause there would be no reflection

BTW Danno i think i'm gunna try it this weekend lol

If you put projector bulbs in wouldnt it componsate for this...also you dont black out everything just the area infront of the bulb (or so I thought)

I blacked out the headlights on my Lancer about 2 months ago. It was pretty easy, I just followed these instructions https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=64908. I will need to reseal them at some point as they do let some moisture in.

Ok guys to take the lense off is a piece of cake like it was stated earlier it takes a little patience and the sealant they use is the same as window glazing putty. I set the oven to 275 for 4 mins and the come apart easy try and use the largest flat head screwdriver possible or a 5way tool/painters tool. I will post pics of the job A.S.A.P.
