So the headlights on the site are actually HIDs? is it just the way the camera angles... or why are the lights look kind of yellowish to me?
oh btw, what is the temperature (as in the colour... like x000k) on that HID set you have from the Audi? and what is the temperature of the HID that's installed on your's?

not sure what the temp is but the set i have in my car are from a Mercedes S-Class, they glow blueish/white, but i know that the operation temp is much lower than halogen, so there is a slim to none chance of damage to the headlight housing.
HID lights are not designed to be placed in your stock light housing. They emit light differently and will almost completely blind oncoming drivers. You need to replace the whole light assembly to do this mod right. It is irresponsible and dangerous (to you and other drivers) to just throw an HID bulb in.
There are JDM spec HID lights for the 04 Lancers (not sure about 03). They focus the light into a low bar shape that is not blinding. Expect to pay $1000+ for this kind of thing. But please, please don't just throw them into you stock light housing. Nothing bugs me more then being blinded by ricers who have no clue what they are doing.

Yeah well when they actually sell lights that will fit my Ralliart with a projector i will get some, but to be honest they are not bad a night ,i have never been flashed or told they were too bright, and besides i have adjusted the hight to aim lower as not blind other people...................HUH irresponsible..........my ***!
I agree, lower aim does help. The reason you haven't been flashed and no body has said they are too bright is because nobody can see you when you go by. It's like looking into the sun
you may be right but i'm going to be fixing that little prob.soon, i'd like to install projector lenses when ever they become available, so until then wear your shades.....man!
