This is our first real big meet (Mitsubishis are quite new here). Last time Kayaalp came with his Evo and he should also be coming this time around. His' is the only Evo in Quebec...

The only Evo 8's up here in Canada are driven by American ex-pats like myself Canada's stupid insurance lobby has convinced parliament that 5mph bumpers are necessary. So Evos aren't legal.

I've already registered for the show. Do we have a banner or something? I'm assuming the Lancers will be grouped together, right?

Emre

Is there a window tint law in Montreal? The car has 22% all the way around.

If your car is registered in the US and is legal in your state, they can't do anything about it...

I have a real nice camera, Nikon D70. I'm still learning how to use it though, but if I come up, I'll get some good pictures.

BTW: The latest forcast for Montreal calls for a sunny weekend, with 0% chance of rain for sunday and a high of 22 degrees (that's 22 Celcius frofan )

Question Those going to the show. Where do we meet?

To those going to the show. We are rolling in together, right? Can you please post where and what time to meet (or if it's been decided, kindly direct me to that post). I will not have access to Evom tomorrow as we will be on the road. It would be better if I know it now so I can map quest it and print the map (the fringe benefits of being in an office).

or give me the cell phone of who is deciding.
My cell is 416-875-9180.

Sylvain, davelancer can you please PM me your cell so we have someone to call who is also attending the show.

For the Québec city people,

we meet at 8H15 am at the Normandin on the 40 exit Jean Gauvin just before St-Augustin, so if you want to be in the "convoi" for St-Eustache we start at 8H30, don't be shy we're about 4 car for the moment.

If you want detail just PM me and I'll give you my cell number.

People that know St-Eustache and the Boulvard Arthur-Sauvé, should propose a meeting place for the people competing in Show and Shine. Has GreenArcher said, it would be alot better if we all showed up at the same time, so we can be parked together as well.

Flukester or anybody else, is there a Time Horton, Dunkin Donut or any place where the Show and Shine people could meet? (Preferably on the Arthur-Sauvé)

But I still don't understand why you guys don't wanna meet in the Metro parking lot, since the address I just gave you is not far from that anyway... why go trough all this trouble when we already had an easy rendez-vous point identified 3 weeks ago?!?! This is very weird...
