New to all of this, could someone look at my logs and explain any bad values to me.

Hello, just bought a 2011 Evo GSR, it's completely stock right now, but i just bought the AEM cold air intake (shipping now). I flashed the Stage 1 91 GSRv300.ptm and don't really understand my logs or if i should be worried about anything. I am completely new to all of this, and i have read through the forums and had some questions about my logs:

My boost gets close to 27psi, should i worry (from my research it seems 25psi is what i would want)? How can i lower this?

What is an acceptable value for knock sum? i have received a few 8's, should i be worried, and if so how can i lower this value?

I have read that the stage 1 tunes are more aggressive, with a stock car should i really flash a stage 2 and pull the pill (i have also read to only do that after installing a test pipe)?

Thanks for any help guys, i really appreciate it, sorry i haven't done the 3rd gear 2-7k logs yet..

Here's the logs:
File name: datalog2.csv File size: 677.61 KB

File name: datalog3.csv File size: 608.94 KB

File name: datalog4.csv File size: 308.62 KB

You can't upload a csv file, so zip it and upload it, or upload it to a file sharing site and post the link.

Why is the boost turned up to 27 psi? What was in the flash that you put in the car? This is the first thing you need to look at. When flashing stage anything you need to make sure you have the proper mods that are for the flash. If it says needs intake, exhaust, and K&N filter you better have those before you flash it to your car.

0 is the answer to that.

Again there is a reason they do stages. Make sure the mods are there before you just throw any stage in the car.

thanks for the replies, I flashed the Stage 1 91 GSRv300.ptm, which was the one on the access port by default. i thought i posted that in my initial post, sorry if i didn't.
I agree with you about only flashing the stage 2 when i have the right parts, but i have read in other forums it was fine, and less aggressive than the stage 1, that's why i was trying to confirm if it should be done.
I resorted to uninstalling the tuner for now, i don't want to mess my car up. I guess i will just have to get a protune after i buy and install a few more parts so it would be worth it. It's kinda sad though, the tune really made the car feel more aggressive.

stage one.. is stock car stock air box.. you'll be fine with 91 and stage 1. if it was cosworth stage 1 then you'd want to have a high flow filter like the cosworth etc etc. did jon make a newer version of the stage one.. stage 1 91 303 for example. ? with the mr's 303 is the latest map that's been made up.

I have not been able to find a newer map (for 2011), i found the mr 303 version, but not a gsr version. Since i live in ca, i would also need the acn version if anyone happens to know where to look. Thanks again guys.

That is another thing I would watch for. Make sure the maps are for 91 fuel and not 93. I am sure you are smart enough to know that hahaha, but I know people that have done it because they think oh sweet upgrade.

Realize though that he does have knock. Knock isn't good. It could be phantom knock, but who knows I didn't look at the logs.
