I had absolutely no luck with my J style spacer.

Can you post the one you are using? How many miles have you put on the car without the CEL coming back?

 

After I had the spacer installed, I haven't had the code thrown since.

Does yours look as big as mine? I did the install in June so it's been roughly 10000kms and the light has never come back on yet. I run 2 spark plug anti foulers and the code pops every 2 months or so usually after heavy traffic driving/crawling. the ap only works sometimes so I pull the negative terminal for a minute and done

I just wanted to update this for you guys.

I'm 160 miles CEL free as of today. I replaced every gasket on the exhaust and tried 2 different spacers. What it ended up being is the rear o2 sensor.

Someone sent me one to try and ta-da 160 miles so far no CEL. Hope this helps.

 

I got a p2096 not to long ago after HFC and it turned out to be a bad gasket.
