Few questions about a Stage 1 map

Hello all,

I know this has probably been beaten to death but can't seem to get a straight answer reading old threads. Probably me just not understanding what people are saying...LOL

I have a bone stock 11 GSR that was running the Stage 1 91 octane map.

The car runs fine and there is virtually no knock at WOT but when under 2K RPM, I get a knock sum up to 7. I see in some threads that this is just a rattling clutch or engine mount but can anyone take a look at these logs?

Also, all the gas stations around my area serve up 92 octane. Is it better to use a 91 map or a 93 map?

I switched back over to the stage 0 v200 (is this really a stock map or just Cobb's version of a "stock" map?) and got a couple more logs until I can figure out why it's knocking.

It doesn't show it in the stage 0 maps but I am still getting knock sum of 4 when under 2k RPM.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Chipper - This is all completely normal and is known as "phantom" knock. We run different fuel/timing strategies than stock and often the ECU is just responding to things at a more sensitive level. There is nothing wrong with this behavior as it happens quite often on these cars. If you are seeing high values of knock sum while in WOT conditions (3+) then we would want to take a closer look.

Thank You,
