I just picked up an ap locally today. I know there's these beta maps for 2011 but says for gsr. Are they for mr's too or am I **** outta luck and can't use the ap?

There isnt any beta maps out yet for 11 and 12 MR, even the GSR beta is not recommended to use for GSR because it will overboost and it wont work on MR even if you try to flash. Cobb will tell you its coming but wont give you a time frame, your better off selling the AP and get ECU flash from a tuner unless you can wait 3 to 6 months.
