accessport lost connection during uninstall

Alright so a week or two ago I was offroading in the evo (2012 gsr) when my service awd system light came on, I turned the car off for a few minutes and I was gone and hasn't comeback since. I bought some coilovers and was going to install them this weekend and figured I would have the car checked out by the dealer before I did just in case.

Heres where the problem is, today I was going to drop off the car at the dealer so I took off my te37s and put on the oem wheels then I moved on to uninstalling my access port but mid un installation it lost connection. It wasn't being touched and nothing was being moved around but somehow still lost connection. The AP is now in recovery mode but cannot makr connection when you try to uninstall also the car will turn over but will not run.

I've read a few things online saying I will have to send out my ecu along with the AP but it was all on other cars forums so I figured I would ask here to see if there's anything I can do before shipping. I called cobb with no answer so I left them a voicemail.

Thanks for reading and if this has been discussed before sorry I tried searching and found nothing.

I just spoke with our CSR team, they did get your voicemail and should be giving you a call here in a little bit to help sort the issue out.

It sounds like both the ECU and AP are in recovery mode so we should be able to get that sorted out for you. Does your Accessport have a silver dongle that connects to the OBD port or does it use a black, one-piece OBDII cable? Is it possible the battery voltage has dropped?
