from time to time i go on the cobb forum to see if any update to the ap maps for our evos that they've been saying over the last 2 to 3yrs that it is in development.. lol
now i just got on n saw this msg on their webpage..

i'm just sorry i trusted your band and purchased your product..

 

supporting a company based forum is not effective and unnecessary. they are still popular in the autoforums which gives them exposure.

I mostly agree that they don't need their own forum. However, I feel the timing is pretty poor. They were using that forum for Beta testing feedback. They ignored most of the feedback until recently trying to put out some fires of people being fed up. Mostly responding with we are still working on stuff responses and then close the forum. It was probably a good business decision. It was clearly doing more harm than good being neglected, but it does leave things with a bit of a sense of abandonment. They still have Beta maps with no way to get to them now.
