I have tried a couple cables around the office and a couple different computers on Win7/8 and cant seem to get it to break. I also tried them on USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports.

^ The cable I tried looks like the light blue one on the left of your photo.

Hopefully we can resolve this problem soon!
And if anyone else can chime in on this issue and if it's worked for them..

I have one on order, since radio shack no longer exists in Canada. I hope this fixes my issues!

Let me know how that new cable works for you. Wondering if I should order the same one.

wired cable in today and so far im now having driver issues. I don't think the radio shack gigaware cable is compatible with windows 8.

This has been the most frustrating experience ever. I would kill to log my AFR.

From the picture of the cable, it looks like it says its compatible up to Windows Vista. So it may not work on Windows 7 and newer?

See if you can borrow someone else's laptop and give it a try. I still would like to know if this works.

For me, I have been logging through my rear O2 sensor. It's totally inaccurate. At WOT the AP through my rear O2 reads 9.5. On my wideband gauge, it reads 10.2.
Unless COBB can fix the equation for logging wideband on AP..

thats my next plan of attack anyways. Going to borrow a laptop with windows 7. If not have to try and source one with windows XP.

Log your RO2 voltage at idle when your gauge is reading around stoich and let me know what it is.

Do I need a voltmeter to measure it? Or is it a parameter I can log? I don't see it under all the parameters.

Yes its a monitor, it should be on both the AP and ATR, current FW versions are 1.6.8.0-7699 on the V2, 1.7.0.2-7700 on the V3.

Okay, so I did a quick log of the RO2 parameter.
At idle, around 14.7 AFR, the RO2 is approximately 1.8-1.9V.
When my AEM wideband gauge reads "---" (let off the throttle in gear), the RO2 is 3.86V

I have attached a datalog as well. Thanks!

anyways after all this headache and nonsense if any newbies read this thread for logging AFR on ATR:

staples cable does not work with windows 8 or windows 7
