28.93 PSI For Stage 1 ACN91 ?

So, just picked up my AP v3. Reflashed to V403 Stage 1 ACN91.

Did a couple pulls and noticed I had managed to almost hit 29 PSI. Now while I love the throwback, isn't that a bit TOO much for a stage 1? My car is completely stock... well minus the catback and the AP now.

When I hit 28PSI I was doing a 2-4 gear pull, full throttle. No knock at all when I did that pull. 2 other pulls I came up with 2 counts of knock. Should I be worried?

How exactly do I upload logs on here anways? is it possible or another preferred method?

Others are sure to chime in but I would immediately flash to the LWG 91 map and carefully watch your boost under WOT. You are definitely over boosting Target boost is 23.5 lbs I believe (a safe variance is +- 1.5). I've been fighting with knock as high as 4 up top with the 93 CHFF map but I think it may be bad gas, time will tell. Sticking to Shell 93 from here on out. Surprised you didn't get massive knock at 29psi. Just data log a third gear pull from 2500 up to redline (if your boost situation improves) and then attach it to your post here in XML or PDF format.

Well I went to the LWG map last night. This morning I drove around for a few minutes, then did my first third gear pull. I hit 29PSI. Did a second pull full throttle third and only hit the target boost of 23.5psi.

I parked, did a couple things for an hour, and decided to do another third gear pull to redline and hit 28 PSI (maybe because I shifted into 4 once I hit red?) Datalogged a second pull after (third to redline) and only hit target boost of 23.5psi.

I'm confused.

Reset the ECU through the AP (believe its under tools) and then reflash again to the LWG 91 map.

And this car is 100% stock? Have you contacted Cobb? I would start a Help Desk Ticket ASAP for someone to look at the data logs in detail. The one you posted up only shows knock counts of 1 which is fine and your learned knock is staying at 100% so you are good there too as far as I know. Would help if you had the throttle and rpm info on the same page. Try selecting landscape mode in excel and be sure all your cells fit in the border. I had to squeeze mine in to get all the parameters on one page once exporting to PDF.

Something is definitely off though b/c you should not be going past 25 psi on Stage 1. Rest the ECU, reflash and get a ticket into Cobb or contact them directly here in the Cobb Accessport subforum. Good luck =)

was it hitting 29 psi all the time? in the daytime normal weather mine hits around 23-24 psi, but on a cold night i go up to 26-27 psi, not sure if that's normal. i am running the regular ACN91 with the AEM intake calibration.

No, as far as I'm aware it was just a random spike that would occasionally happen at first. Haven't noticed it since.

Good to hear! Keep on eye on that knock sum and do a data log here and there

Similar thing here. I flashed the v403 93 stage 1 map on my stock '13 GSR and got a 28.7psi boost reading on a 3rd gear pull to 6k rpm.

Which monitors would you guys recommend for me to include in the log so that COBB can look into it?

Thanks

If you are not getting any knock and AFR is below 11.8 during wot then it is fine,
but you are getting knock and afr is ABOVE 12 switch to low wastegate map instantly.

Run their LWG map. Cobb OTS tunes tend to over-boost unless you start your pull from ~2K RPM.

Anyone have any issues? I’ve been on the Stage 1 93 with a K&N drop in and see 22-25 during 3k-7k datalog pulls. But if I’m rolling at 4.5k and WOT it spikes. Or if I’m on the highway and drop to 4th to pass, same thing. Usually was 26ish psi but lately with the cold weather I saw 29psi. It’s peaking then dropping immediately, but freaking me tf out.
