Cobb Stage 3 running lean?
Cobb Stage 3 running lean?
I think my car may be running too lean but I'm not as experienced in this as most of you may be. Any help would be appreciated. Car feels great so far, just want to know if anything is wrong. I'm using 100 octane fuel and Cobb Stage 3 OTS map with correct MAF scaling applied and i live in Nevada. Weather has been mid 70s as of late. Mods are as follows: TurboXS Downpipe, TurboXS HFC (100 cell), ETS V2 Standard cat-back, AEM intake with Cobb turbo inlet tube, Cobb EBCS, ETS 4" FMIC. Spark plugs changed at 30k im at 40329 at the moment. 2008 GSR. I seem to get about 1 to 2 counts of knock around 3000 RPM. My AFR at WOT is 11.6~12.0

if you think you are running lean then change your relays, do a boost leak test and vacumm line for fuel pressure regulator under the plastic engine cover. i am running similar setup as you and i am running super lean with cobb map with the correct calibration. if you had check everything above then i think you will need a good tuner to dial in out for you. most of the time, lean issue is due to uncorrect calibration of intake.
I have similar mods. Sorry to bring up an old post but I am having slightly lean conditions as well. 11.9-12.5 WOT. Anyone else here have a temporary remedy before pro-tune?
?
I thought cobb tunes were supposed to be more rich than lean?
