Simple question for intake values.

I have a 2010 GSR that is mostly stock. I have the V2 Accessport and the previous owner never had it tuned. I noticed I can now calibrate the AP for different intakes. The previous owner put the K&N Typhoon system on, but replaced the actual filter with an AEM/K&N Dryflow Hybrid filter. (
Amazon.com: AEM 21-202DK AEM DryFlow Air Filter: Automotive Amazon.com: AEM 21-202DK AEM DryFlow Air Filter: Automotive
) One similar to this but on the filter itself it actually says "AEM/K&N Hybrid Technology".

My question is this, what do I set the MAF values at? I compared the Typhoon MAF settings to the AEM settings and they are close but not exact. Right now I have it set to the AEM values. I have noticed 2 or 3 counts of knock during acceleration, could changing the MAF values to the K&N Typhoon fix this? I would like to know before I start changing the timing.

P.S.
I live in Utah and we do not have 93 octane. We have 91 at the highest and I'm using a 91 octane MAP from Cobb. Should I switch to the 91CAN MAP, or adjust timing to get rid of those few knocks?

Thanks!

The MAF calibrations are more affected by the tube shape and size than they are the filter type. Use the K&N Typhoon settings. 2-3 Knock counts are nothing to worry about. If you ever see 4's or 5's, it's time to reduce timing in the trouble area. LTFT's will tell you how good your MAF calibrations are. Less than +/- 5% is desired. With my wideband and tuned MAF, my LTFT's are under 1%.
