simple INTAKE question
simple INTAKE question
HEY ALL,
can anyone tell me what the difference in POWER improvement is between the HKS super-mega flow ($110) vs. the HKS racing suction ($300) intakes????? the only other power mod for now will be the RMR cat-back...(i got the bump2bump Xtnd warranty for FREE & wanna wait a bit on the big mods) ***ALSO how exactly does the racing suction force more air than the reg intake????
THANX
HELPFUL REPLIERS:
OK... helpful suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated, then, for a decent intake... what about the K&N typhoon? THX

HKS Racing Suction sucks in the air. It makes ur turbo engine like a super super vacuum machine. The new element filters are good and replaceable. No hassle on cleaning them. Change them every 6K and ur good to go. Both HKS has funnel design which sucks in as much air as possible much better than K&N and similar. But the Racing Suction has a bigger pipe than stock and it's made of metal and looks tons nicer...That's about it. Well, get the cheaper one unless u like the looks. All intakes are almost the same in powerwise. You'll probably get +/- 4whp at the most for different intakes.
