Installing Cobb AP V3

I bought a 2011 Evo X with a custom tune (AEM, I think) from a private seller and I'm wondering if I can install my V3 from my old X...

If I decided to install my V3, will it delete the current tune? I'm not trying to install any OTS maps, again, I'M NOT TRYING TO INSTALL ANY OTS MAPS, I just want to use the V3 for logging and monitoring purposes. Will it just make a back up of the AEM tune and wont be replaced unless I install a different map?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

As far as I know it makes a backup of the current rom the ECU is holding, in your case it is the AEM Tune, so it might just make a backup of that. If youre not setting any OTS maps you should be fine.

Can you get in contact from the seller you bought the car from? He should have a copy of the tune.
