map questions

All the maps provided by cobb say they are just for cobb parts. My question is do different companies parts really make that much difference. I know for the intakes cobb has the values on there website that you can change in whatever map you load. I am going to get the car to a tuner after I get all the parts installed, but as long as I load the cobb map that has the same parts list and change the values for the intake the car should be fine to drive around still as long as I don't push it right?

You'll be fine, the maps can easily be run with any brand of aftermarket part. But just don't run the OTS maps for too long. Get a pro tune as soon as you can, but sounds like you're planning on doing that anyways
