Yeah that is fine, as long as your time was accomplished in the United States. Sorry to the rest of the world, but it would be extremely difficult to find all the 11.99 seconds and faster EVOs world wide! Honestly think about it, I couldn't even began to imagine how many EVOs from I to VIII have run 11.99 and faster, if I had to guess, more than 600, (maybe a 1000) would be my guess. So yeah I'll stick to the USA for now. Great time though, and I'm sure your EVO is one of the nicest in the world.

 

If anybody runs 11s or lower this weekend, please post so I can update.

One of our customers here locally has gone 11.99 on the stock turbo on pump gas. That was in the Florida Heat. This winter I'm sure it will get a bit faster.

No it's an EVO 2, which is cool, as long as the run was made in the United States.

 

I get one last shot this weekend to join this club. Last weekend my alternator fuse went so my coil packs had no electric current to fire them. Plus my tranny, or atleast third gear, is on its way out. I still ran a 8.6@81mph in the 1/8th and 13.1@111 in the 1/4 on an axle hopping ridiculously slow 1.76 60'

 

Was this ar MIR? Were you the red Evo they backed off the line in the first round?

 

ya that was me alright. car did not run right at all. i was hopping no one saw that, but being at the staging lanes and EVERYONE there i guess thats inevitable. oh well. i needed someone to that day.
i ended up getting a new battery and making part of the way home. didnt' know the fuse went until the next day. hopefully we have good weather this weekend

Uh oh... not only did I see it, I videotaped it That sucks! I guess you're the guy I talked to in the staging lanes and you asked me about my MachV shirt. A black Evo got backed off the line for a "leak". Anyway, we decided not to run that day since it was so crowded... Hopefully see you running often in the springtime. I may go to Capitol on Sunday - I think it's their last Test'n'Tune.

 

Did he use the 264/272 cam configuration? What octane gas did he use to achieve that 330whp race gas map?
