"Simon Podlewski (Morpowa) EVO III"

This car should be removed from the list, its not an Evo, its a
Mitsubishi Lancer GSR with an Evo 4G63 transplant.

Its like a Mirage with a 4G63, its still not an Evo.

Here is his website

Might want to update Adam Dubienczuk (DEVO Tuning) 's time... he did a 8.77 @151mph in the EVO II. Run was done in the USA... not sure what track. Video....

http://www.devotuning.com/videos/adamsrun.mpeg (right-click save as... the file is kinda big)

homepage http://www.devotuning.com/

guess that makes it the 3rd quickest 4cyl 4WD in the world... only 0.001 sec off Shep racing's 2nd place 8.769 @ 165.97 time in the DSM

Hello from New Zealand!

You might wanna update your list...

Zoheb Razak (RIPUUP Evo III) - 8.63 @ 161 mph (ran it on Sunday 20th March)

And I'm not sure if this count's but Trnt Davis in a CC GSR with a 4G63 conversion ran a 9.91 @ 150 mph a few months ago. Car was built by Speedtech.

DOCILE's new PB is an 8.78 @ ??? mph but on the same day ran a 9.05 (or 9.03?) @ 170.43 MPH!!!

www.evopwr.com for videos.

God I hate to get back into this. Based on the input of PROFESSIONAL drag racers that KNOW about running 8s, and personal knowledge of drag racing and physics, this run is a timing error. This track is NOTORIOUS for bad 60' times. Call John Shepherd or any other Professional class NDRA driver and ask them if a .901 60' time is feasable in a unibody car. Its not, never has been, and never will be. Physics just do not allow it to happen. Prove me wrong by showing me IRREFUTABLE backed-up proof of a sub 1.0 60' time in a unibody awd car, I'll personally paypal $100 dollars to anyone that can. That's a promise. You wont even find proof of that accomplishment in a uni-body RWD car without tube work done to it.

Before you guys start talking **** about how I am slandering Adam, please understand that I know him personally and I like him. He is very close with everyone at our shop. I am in no way saying he can't run 8s, but this pass was a timing error plain and simple. If Martin or Tim came back from the track in our shop Evo with a 9.5 timeslip with a .95 60' and looked me in the eye and honestly told me they think its valid, I would laugh in their face and tell them they are dillusional.

Im sure Adam will be hitting the track hard this year and I'm SURE he will get the 8 sec timeslip he deserves. I dont want ANYONE to believe Adam can't run 8s, I just want people to get it thru their heads that timing errors happen, and this was one.

Yeah I know about the timing error discussion, I thought that the 8.7 was a brand new time, my bad wasn't paying attention. Moved his time back to 9.1@152MPH.

We ran 11.28@129 MPH (Batlground) at the DSM shootout this weekend in GA.

That was with a full interior (minus the spare tire ) and on stock block and stock manifolds.

Not that it matters, but I think my video shows 11.25 @ 128.59. A little faster, but not much. I'll watch the video later tonight and double check. Great job with the car. That sucker was fast and LOUD.
