Its not all that bad.. I've seen some 1.5 and 1.6 60' times, but practice makes perfect.. First few times out I was doing 2.0 and 1.9 60's..

It also depends on the car.. but Evo specific I typically see timeslips with 1.6 and 1.7 60's so your not far off.. I think that anything "More impressive" than that would require being pretty rough on your drivetrain and likely break parts.

1.7's would be really good for the stock clutch. I wouldn't keep trying to do 0-60's all day though...

1.75 is what I was able to muster up with the stock clutch. I believe anything in the 1.7 range is acceptable. Has anyone been able to touch the 1.6's on the stock clutch?

yes, i do have the stock clutch. I did get a little smell when i was done. I think when the car is tuned, i might hit 1.5 if the clutch holds up.

I'd agree with most posts. If you can hit 1.7-1.8 with the stock clutch, feel pretty good. If you are willing to burn your clutch up, go ahead and try for 1.5-1.6...at least then you can buy a clutch that might support sub 1.7's regularly.

curt brown, i.e fastest stock turbo evo has a couple of 1.6s on the stock clutch, he also ran 11.59. he has since gone 11.23 on an exede twin carbon clutch. with ported turbo, ported exhaust mani, sheetmetal intake, aem ems and a full buschur stage 4.

I personally have gone 1.65 on an act 2600. intake, exhaust, ebc, and fuel pump, i went 12.5@108 for that run. i have consistent 1.67 60' times. stock suspension too

****, the best I could get was a 1.8 and that was 6k-7k launch full out ***** to the wall on a tripple disk clutch. Maybe my all seasons aren't gripping enough I was getting 1.9s and 2.0s trying to "slip" the clutch, which means disengagin/reingating it over and over since it really doesnt slip that much. If only I could get a 1.7 I would have had a 12.5.

Stock clutch I was able to get a fair 1.65 60' time https://www.evolutionm.net/registry/viewtime.php?tid=19 and then on the last day the stock clutch went to the track and Died (on 9/11 @ Englishtown)went 3,count them, three 1.71 60' times in a row with the last run of the day(5 runs later)a 1.82 60' and the car would not move untill rpms got around 6500,then the disc would get nice and hot, swell and the car would move.Put new clutch in the very next morning
