Vids: 12.9-13.0 + 0-80 + Pull

Here are a few vids from the day we rented out MIR last year. I was Buschur Stage 1 at the time. Best run of the day was 12.8 @ 107. The "Pullaway" vid is 4th gear on the Washington Beltway (avg. traffic speed = 90mph ) with Buschur TBE. The 0-80 vid is on a closed course with a crappy 2500 launch - I wanted to see where my rpms were with each speed and shift.

thanks. Unfortunately, I didn't tape my very best runs... From these runs, it's hard for me to imagine the claims of stock Evos running 12.9's. These were pretty good launches and shifts, and I was barely breaking 12s. Also, roughly at sea level on a cool/mild day in MD. This is with roughly 300 Dynojet whp. The 12.8 runs I did were basically perfect launches and shifting.

I've never timed my 1/4 mile but it sure doesn't seem like it's going to break the 13.5's in stock form.

In the videos, the car was Buschur stage 1 - Buschur 3" TBE & intake, Greddy Boost Controller and Dynoflash. Now, I'm basically stage 2+.

Dynoflash. I didn't mean to rev that high, but I wasn't really watching the tach. That's why I wanted to tape the run, to see where my "instincts" were telling me to shift, etc... I have another tape with a run where I launched more like 6000rpms and there was a slight hesitation at like 6200 at which point it really went.

The interesting thing is that I hit 60mph and 80mph in virtually identical times whether I launched at 3000 or 6000, I guess just due to other factors. One thing's for sure... 30mph comes up pretty damn quick! Great for shocking cocky BMWs and Lexus's off the line!

I'll be at the dyno, but just to watch. The new clutch is perfect. I actually tried to call you today, but it sounded like you had bad reception...

Steve, thanks for meeting up tonight. Learned a few things. My factory clutch is just about shot with 30k miles on it, my toyo proxes 4 feel like mush compared to normal ultra high performance tires, not to install a license plate in the windshield as it will rattle and blocks my vision, and finally that my cams really WORK. See ya saturday. The 30mph roll was a lot of fun.
