Ran 5 times, best of the night was a 12.713 @ 109.1

I know I could've hit a 12.6XX but they kicked me off the track when they thought the car was "leaking water out the front end." Actually I was next in line when they decided to run the sweeper tractor thing so as I was waiting I kept hitting my intercooler sprayer button. Guess I hit it too much, there was windshield washer fluid (instead of water) drenching the intercooler and dripping onto the track. Once they found out that I wasn't leaking anying I was told I could get back in line. Screw that, 5 passes on the stock clutch was enough for me. Almost a 12.6 without cams...I'm happy. I'll post up all the times and slips tomarrow, it's been a long day.

I OWN ALL! I guess 109, Tke 413 runs 109.1. Sorry to doubt your skills Tke, you obviously can drive pretty well.

:)

Most of the cars were having troubles on the track and were complaining that they were ALL running at least .40 to .60 slower than usual. I don't think it had any effect on me. Here's my best 3 times of the night.

I'm positive if I could've ran that one more time and hooked up well in all the gears it could've ran in the 12.6's. Oh well I ended up taking the SUPERCHARGED MUSTANG TWICE, A WHITE STI, A BLUE STI, AND A RALLIART. As for the future, I'll probably take it easy and not hit the track again until the cams are installed in April. After that I suppose I should start looking at a clutch. Does anybody know what the fastest time is with the stock turbo, no alcohol injection, no EMS is?

Great times for the mods... I'd have guessed around 12.8 @ 107 too...

No, I put 3 gallons of 110 in there at $6/gallon. Kinda funny, people complain about gas prices and then go out and drop $18 for 1/4 tank to burn up in a few hours.

Meant to say were you on pump gas, anyway congrats again on those times. I hope to be trapping about 108-110 MPH when I tune in my water injection on our crappy 91 octane.

One more question... were those runs at 20psi? Or did you kick it up a bit with the race gas? You definitely ought to do lower IC pipe along with the cams

The 12.8's were done at 22psi and then I tried to bump it up to 23. I went a little far and was popping the whole way down the track pushing 26psi when I did the 12.758. Then I turned it down a little and was going about 24psi when I ran the 12.713. It was still popping a little bit though so that's when I turned it down a little bit more and finally had it at 23 when they took me off the track for using my i/c sprayer too much while in line. I know if I would've ran with it at the 23psi and shifted like I had the rest of the night it would've put me in the 12.6's...but oh well.

Here's all 5 runs. On the last one I missed 2nd gear completely, and the same on the 4th, but check out the MPH on the 4th!!

Wow, looking at your time slips, it doesn't look like you ever really had a real clean run. Your cleanest run was the 12.713, but there is room for improvement. In all your other runs you trapped higher in 1/8th than your 12.713 slip. What happend in the third run, you were flying through the 1/8th, did you let off too early?
