you need to do the clutch and practice the launch and shifting. you can get a tenth of out of 60' with a better clutch, that would put you in the 12.5's.

the mph seems to be all over the place at both half track and at the top. next time you go to the track, you know where the sweet spot is between just riht, and too much boost so you can start out there. try gapping your plugs down a little, that might help the missfire.

Yeah, the third run was going awesome until the shift into 4th where I had to double clutch it. Thanks for the advice, I'm still pretty new when it comes to running the 1/4. I know the car already has 12.6's in it, the shifting is what's causing my downfall cuz they come up so quick. I'm thinking with a new clutch it'll be 12.5's because of a more agressive launch. Everybody there was amazed of what I was running without cams, and the STI guys stopped wanting to go against me after I took 2 of them down easily. The guy in the new Z06 wouldn't run me and didn't give me an excuse. This car is just amazing of what it can put out with what mods I have.

What'll it take me to shave that other .5 off my time to hit 11's? Cams are a given, but what do you think that'll put me at? Also, any advice to me that you have is well appreciated... good or bad.

Turbo Trix Flash is nice for the price, but EMS would help you get into the 11s, also a new clutch and more practice. That with the Cams should be enough for 11s or very low 12s consistently. Also maybe a bigger FMIC and bigger injectors.

Not sure if I want to go with an EMS. Maybe I'll try bigger injectors, bigger FMIC, new clutch and cams. I'd like to get into the 11's with the stock turbo, no alcohol injection, and no EMS.

i'm aiming for 12.5 @110+ mph at the end of the year.

I'm still not flashed or tuned, no intake or upper piping, all season tires, stock BOV valve that leaks... with the tune and reflash, i could actually boost up without running richer at higher PSI.

I ran with 19 psi... works better than 22 psi with stock ecu a/f settings.

with intake, upper piping, flashed and tuned so I'll run not so much pig richer like now, and get some real tires.

i don't want cams, cam gears, upgraded turbo, upgraded FMIC, or anything to do with my engine or the turbo itself.

i think its possible.

yeh, tke, i think the aftermarket clutch will help a lot

I don't plan on going all crazy with the HP so I don't think I need something like an Exedy Twin plate clutch. What do you guys think would be a good clutch to go with?

Go with the ACT street disc. I have had it in my car for the last 10,000. No problems, grabs better than stock, and only cost $450.00. You could buy three for the price of the one.

Yeah, that's the one I've been looking into. Did you do the install yourself? I'm debating if I want to pay to have it installed.

I had the dealership install the clutch. I lost my transfer case at the same time as the clutch so they gave me a break on the cost for install. They took care of the TC but I had to pay $450.00 for the install on the clutch.

i'd go with act. i like them, they hold good when launching your car.

I think more I launch, more I love my car, more I love my car, more I love my clutch, the more I love my clutch, more I love launching, and more I love launching, the more my T-case and transmission hates me.

lol, ACT shocks minimal compare to some other clutches I've been with.

ACT price went up about $100 this year, i think.

Knowing my dealership, it'll probably be a grand for the install

Anybody know of a place in the DFW area that won't rape me on a clutch install?
