i have never gone to a strip before, but i plan to in the future...oh and never on the street...it is amazing how many people try to get me to race them though...they just don't know...or maybe they do and just want to see it

Moderators I know the title has drag racing in it, but the reason why I posted it in the general forum was because I knew most people who go to the drag race forum are interested in drag racing, so I wouldn't get an accurate count. I understand you guys are just doing your job.

I understand, however, we created this forum to discuss drag racing. The topics get out of hand very quickly in the general forum and this one would head to the trash fairly quickly as street racing would dominate the discussion. Lets redo the poll and add tracking the car and auto-x? If that is acceptable I will move it back to the General forum.

Okay, honestly, I've taken my dad's s2k to the strip once and did so horrible, that I don't think I'll be going again, untill enough people peer pressure me into taking my Evo

I drag race my car to get a baseline for my mods as there are not any 4-wheel dynos easily accessible to me and the drag strip is about 5 miles up the road. I do not launch any higher than 3500 RPM because all I'm concerned with is if my changes make the car any faster than it was before.
