I am in total agreement that his superior skills behind the wheel gives him an impressive if not insurmountable advantage. All I know is, if I had to line up next to him, I'd better have a car that has 4x as much $/mods put into it. I'd probably still lose anyways judging from what he did at the '04 shootout beating out guys with many times more money put in their car.

Everyone has bad driving days, my first five passes of the year really sucked and there is a chance that it won't go into gear everytime, lots of variables, weather, track prep, altitude, ect, you need a good day and a good track(like Norwalk) and have everything just right, suspension, tune, and be in a good mood to drive! Id still say the car is 75% and the rest is luck.

You "should" be able to do an 11.6 ET w/116-117mph. 124mph is good for 10.8-11.0.

Curt also has damaged his throwout bearing or another trans component I understand> I read this stated by Buschur in the process. Going fast is hell on parts without a doubt. Play your gonna pay
