Curt Brown what are your mods that go you 10.9@124MPH?

 

it's not only his mods that got him there, He's a good driver too. There were plenty of Evo's running high 13's with mods on them. The evo's as stock should run about a 13.3. It's not just the mods you need. You need to know how to drive the car.

 

Mr Brown , pls give us slower stock turbo ppl some help here , your mph is just crazy .

You could do better than 13.3... If you have an MR and take off the spoiler, headlights, take out the spare tire, and take off the limiter, you could get into the 12s with a good launch, even with the headlights.

 

But, my point was, that he knows how to drive his car. Others could have more mods than him but can't get close because they can't drive. He is an excellent driver and he has the mods to boot. Once again,

 

I probably should have added that his "50%" far exceeds everyone else's 100%+.

I am in total agreement that his superior skills behind the wheel gives him an impressive if not insurmountable advantage. All I know is, if I had to line up next to him, I'd better have a car that has 4x as much $/mods put into it. I'd probably still lose anyways judging from what he did at the '04 shootout beating out guys with many times more money put in their car.

I think his EVO is very light too. No AC and so on!!!!

 

The main point here is that the guy can drive the **** out of the car. I think IE_Evo trapped 122mph and his ET was like 11.6.

You "should" be able to do an 11.6 ET w/116-117mph. 124mph is good for 10.8-11.0.
