how long dose your alky last ?

 

Pretty long. My injector duty cycle is at 80%, so the rest is compensated with alcohol. It's an alkycontrol kit, which means it's a progressive kit. So as long as I'm not flooring it to 26 lbs, it's barely using it at all. Mine kicks on around 6-7 psi. At that point, it's barely spraying any.

Turns out my injectors were completely maxed out from a crappy tune another company did on my car before I brought it to AMS. I also talked to turboxs and they said running that much boost on stock injectors will always trigger the overboost code( I'm running about 26psi). With Ams' tune, I have my injector duty cycle at 80% and the rest compensated with methonal. I just have the utec not throw the code anymore. Car runs awesome. If you're in the chicagoland area, Martin at AMS is a tuning master when it comes to methonal. I will not let anybody else touch my car for tuning except him. I can't thank him enough.
